We’re thrilled to celebrate another remarkable achievement by team Ekolution as they secure the final Klimatkliv provision from Svenska Naturvårdsverket. This recognition underscores their impact potential and unwavering hard work

Producing natural fibers for multiple industrial sectors, Ekolution is at the forefront of sustainable innovation. The milestone follows their win at the SEB Awards 2024 in the Transformation category and the successful close of another funding round – bringing them close to 200mSEK in total funding

At South Bay, we’re proud to have supported Ekolutions journey over the years. With their state-of-the-art factory in Staffanstorp, Sweden set to begin production in 2025, the road ahead is very exciting too.

The complexity of scaling capex-intensive climate tech cannot be understated, so we encourage many more investors to join the effort to drive the transition forward.
